the 35w should be bright enough thats what i have

i just put 35w in my car and they are plenty bright lol...u have to be careful with the 55w cause they arent meant for smaller housings

if someone can direct me to a local HID place to get some bi-xenon/hi-lo 35 watt HIDS

35 watts should be fine

#1: DDM tuning is where to get kits... Local is going to BE VERY Expensive!!! You WILL NOT BE disappointed by the quality ESPECIALLY for the price!!!
#2: If you are using a Standard Housing I would go 55W. The heat is really not a huge issue here, as it's not like a typical bulb so it's not nearly as hot. If you've got some sort of upgraded Projector or H4 bulbs then I'm sure 35W is plenty bright.

I have a 55W DDM Slim Ballast Kit in my 98 Subaru (9007 Bulbs) and it's very nice. I run 55W FF75s for driving lights as well. I get flashed about once a month, but there's always that jackass that flashes folks because they are night blind/light sensitive..... I've also been behind cops on the highway and locally without any issue... So now worries there.

EDIT: If your looking for highs don't go HID. Use 9012 HIR Bulbs. The HIRs are a standard bulb designed to be MUCH brighter, and they really work. Expensive but talk about daylight:drivingwheel:

Well what I was planning on doing was getting an H4 hi/low kit in either 35 or 55 watt. The way a 93-97 Firebird works is that the stock headlight is a sealed beam hi/low, which I have replaced with a housing that takes an H4 bulb. So whatever I do one bulb has to do both high and low beam.

Ahhh... I thought they were dual bulbs...

Then you will need the Hi/Lo (Bi-Xenon) Kit. I skipped that in my Subaru, as it was like $150 more at the time. All that happens is the lights go out when I hit the highs... But for $20 more at this point better to just go for it.

I would also recommend adding the Direct to Battery Harness. It just ensures that the lights always get enough juice at startup. The whole kit including add on Harness is all plug & play so no wire splicing or even cutting. :emot-sotw:
