ur wrong about not gettin much more unmodded...cars like that that are rare and in demand, the type of people that really want to get there hands on em dont want them modded...its like taking any special anniversary car, modding the crap out of it and expecting to get almost the same amount of money if it was untouched when u go to sell it..thats not the way it works..all original will always equal more money when it comes to special editions. If it were just a basic run of the mill Z28 or SS then it obv wouldnt matter.

The difference here is that we arent talking about like a 69 Yenko or a ZL-1. It is a
1LE. I mean its an uncommon package but its not rare in the sense of the Yenko where the value of the car is that much higher than the standard run of the mill Z28.

Up to him what he does, but a stock 1LE will fetch more money almost guaranteed. Hell stock versions of my car are still going for $14-16K and they aren't rare at all. I saw a 2000 Formula WS6 run to $18,500 on Ebay a couple weeks back that had 109,000 miles on it, so the demand is most likely out there.

Maybe not right now it isn't but collectors think ahead, find a 3rd Gen 1LE car and compare it to the price of a regular one and get back to me. And as the years go by the gap will grow as the # of cars that have it get crushed, crashed or fall off the grid. Nothing Special about a 92 GTA but they go for higher premiums because there are only 219 of them in the world.

Demand has gone through the roof. I can't pump gas without someone throwing an offer.

yeah but lets say he sells his mods for 3grand and his car for 3 he gets six if he can only sell his car for 4modded he still loses 2 grand.

thats exactly y i plan on demodding it Jon. i know i can get close to 3k in sellin off some mods. and left over parts that r just laying around. after that its just making money off the car

mike i have a set of stock salad shooters. and i have a bunch of other stock stuff, and i could trade u for u aftermarket suspension (with some cash of course). Also im interested in the HIDs and some other stuff. if i had the money i would but that car outright the way it sits from u. just let me know what u need and i will let u know what i need. and maybe sometime we can meet when u get home and i'll bring everything i got and we can make shit happen.

btw i love ur LT1 car like mroe then anything in the world so im saddened. but ont he flip side i can def see u behind the wheel of batman's car :):)

That what I was going to point out, all those mods are worth way more by themselves then on the car. I always save stock stuff, if I ever sold my car it will all go back on.

DING! DING! DING! we have a winner! lol Exactly my point..u would be amazed at how much these cars are gonna be worth in 20 years. Just like he said the third gen 1les are like fuckin gold now. U got to think ahead sometimes and from a collectors stand point.


But anyways mike i think ur doin the right thing by parting it out gettin extra money for the mods and then the car on top of it. I wish i had the cash to take it. It will be sad to see it go
