sweet. how did u wire it?

SLP IROC-Z 05-07-2011 01:40 AM

instead of using an indicator light on mine im going to use the wire going to the ebrake for the light on the cluster since it just needs to be grounded in order to illuminate

Instead of running the power to the solenoid, and then from the solenoid to the switch, I ran power straight to the switch, and then from the switch to the solenoid, and then to ground, and then hooked my indicator light to the wire that runs from the switch to the solenoid, and ran another wire from the light to ground under the steering column. Much better in my opinion.

Question is.....WHY NOT!?!?!?! haha plus it makes it ten times easier with a 6 speed

ILuvPizzaTimes10 09-28-2011 01:52 PM

the day he has his rear brakes catch fire from doing a brake stand he will find out. and it will save money and time on changing your rear pads 4 times a season.....

Haha yep, I actually saw a cummin's rear brakes catch on fire at summer nationals one year.
