Oh and my view on hondas has never been more concrete, they are complete CRAP. One shouldnt have to drop a drive shaft to replace an alt. Needless to say civics almost done, have to tighten up a couple things tomorrow.

Worst car Ive EVER worked on, are all imports like this? Christ, putting in my LTs in the camaro was easier then this....and i did them with out a lift! /end rant

OHHHHHHH, well thats cheating, not surprised, its a honda lol

On my 92 z 34 Lumina you had to remove the driveshaft to replace the alternator! It was a 3 hour job and it was done 4 times while I owned the car! Space was so tight it never got any cooling airflow.

Shit, you can get it off an LT1 in like 5 minutes. Only thing easy to do in that engine bay.

What the heck are people thinking when they build cars, like i get to point of transverse mounted and fwd but...your telling me its easier to try and figure out how to stuff it all in the engine compartment(engine, trans, trans axle) then sending a damn drive shaft to the back wheels....that seems a whole lot simpler...

And to be fair, the axle was a piece of cake to drop took perhaps 15 min lol but everything else was a pain do to no space, and Im kinda skinny...5'11 170lbs~
I couldn't even picture a bigger dude trying to work on it lol

I have to disagree, my lt1 has the most space and ease of access of any car Ive owned, other then plugs and wires, but them are SO much easier now with LTs then the stock manafolds....
