A 94 Z28 for your first car,.............. Not a bad way to start out !! Looks like a REAL high quality build ! A 396 with T56 and 4.30's ----> Wow !

:D

he better plan on running a 28" tire or that thing is going to run out of gear on the top end

Hahaha told yah Bat Wings!!! dont worry i fixed it for yah already!! and i Agree the quick perfomance 9" is incredible!!! i couldnt believe the craftsmanship wen i got mine from Ebay. something like this deserves more credit then an Ebay rear end!!!

The guy that's building my 3rd member for the 9" recommended Brydon (Quick Performance) for my rear over Moser. Far superior torque arm mount and better fit, IMO. Plus Brydon is super to work with.

ohh and one more thing. Why 35 splines? 31's depending on gear ratios are good for 600+rwt. and they recomend to run the smallest axle that you need to save rotating weight. and let me know how you like the spool. i HATE mine so far.

Why 35 spline? This build = no compromises. I don't want them to ever break. Do it once, do it right. Not to mention I'm going to be leaving at 5,000+RPM with a 6-speed.:drivingwheel:

As for the spool, my builder talked me out of the locker for 2 reasons:

-Realistically, this car is going to be a trailered track car before too long. I can deny it all I want, but its the truth.

-Secondly, the locker is inconsistent on the street and on the track. The spool sucks, but it sucks consistently. Plus, its lighter!

I know you didn't mean anything by it. Also need the tall tire to absorb the shock from the clutch drop.

Never say never..... ! twisted 2- 35 spline axles in my Firehawk and that only made 430rwhp.

c4boom 12-04-2009 07:04 PM

how the hell did you pull that off
