Lots of top end with the duration what do you plan on spinning it to 7500?

Any way you can take some dimensions of the sway bar? Lenght, width and where the mounts are welded? Thinking of doing some custom work..

ILuvPizzaTimes10 12-31-2009 10:11 PM

now that duration would spin to 7500 on a 350. you forget hes a 396 brings a Drastic power curve down a 1000 rpm+ depending on the setup. id say he paeks around 6500-6800 with Great mid range power and low end torque.

84ta406 12-31-2009 10:28 PM

Damn I wouldnt think it changed the band that much...

Now I wonder what my cam will do in my motor when it went to 6800-6900 in a 383.

94Z28rag 01-01-2010 01:42 AM

I will be shifting around 7k RPM, give or take...we'll see what the dyno tells me.

94Z28rag 02-22-2010 07:46 PM

Did a good bit of work this weekend and snapped some pics. I will upload them tonight!

Also bought adjustable rear shocks and decided that the Tick Performance Stage 3 Race rebuild is the right choice. I will probably send the transmission to them around June 20 and have it back about 2 weeks later.

Saved myself about $150 and had the driveshaft built locally with the same lifetime guarantee.

c4boom 02-22-2010 09:39 PM

who did the drive shaft IM going to need one at some point

Not locally here, the car is outside of Philly. Locally there :)

I fly down once a month to work on it. I'll drive/trailer it back up this summer once it's done.

94Z28rag 02-23-2010 03:05 PM

Because this is my dad's garage at my parent's house and I have access to every tool I'll ever need, lift, air tools, welder, local fabricators, my engine builder, etc etc....here's some shots of my Dad's cars in the garage:

I'll probably done by July-ish. I will be getting it tuned and get test runs done down there before I bring it up to NH. It should be up here by late summer or so. :)

irockidz28 02-24-2010 02:35 AM

sweet! congrats on getting all the stuff and thats a sweet garage your dad has i would rather work on my car there too haha

94Z28rag 05-08-2010 04:05 AM

After a long hiatus, the engine is DONE and in my garage as we speak. I will be flying down to Philly Father's Day weekend to pull the engine/trans, crate up the T56 and ship it out to Tick Performance for a Stage 3 Race rebuild.

Once that comes back from Tick I will be flying down again for a long weekend to get the engine/trans in the car, fired up, and dyno tuned. The car should be at the track by August. CAN'T WAIT!

Lots of little details to work out, but the big picture is finally coming together.

ILuvPizzaTimes10 05-08-2010 04:27 AM

Dammit man THATS AWESOME!!!!!! CANT WAIT TILL I GET KNOCKED DOWN A NOTCH ON THE LT1 List!!!! :)

94Z28rag 05-08-2010 05:20 AM
