i agree and think thats more of an issue!! just wish capital spending would gear more towards US and not THEM! and by us i mean the hard working "middle" class. the rich and the poor/lazy get it all.

What they need to do is knock off the foreign aid for awhile and close down our borders (for illegal traffic, not migrants).

And its not that I don't agree that knowledge is important but, name one life altering thing space has done for us. No planets to live on, no awesome energy source. Just some bragging rights that we know what things look like out there and have no real way to get to them in any humans life time. Thats not true space exploration has helped and may have many answers to many problems to things on earth. Like they said all the satellites, but further exploring may bring more answers to what is out there what our universe is made of and how we can improve our living conditions!!!
