probably didn't get all the oil out of it. or the sensor itself is damaged/burnt out. I bet if you buy one from VatoZone, try it and it fails you can always bring it back.

though you say it's not staying running, how's the alternator?

i think hes making it all up. you did not find the issue if it still runs and drives on ether. the pcm did not FRY the opti if the car starts and you have No engine light for high or low res pulse. IT WAS NOT AND IS NOT THE OPTI. NEED I GO ON?

Thank you.

Alex enlighten me on what you think the issue is.

I've been studying the GM factory service manuals for my car for WEEKS and picking my car apart. Like I said in my other post, NOT the opti probably the computer or wiring thats killing the sensor. How the fuck I don't know but if you can explain to me how it started then failed right after that'd be fantastic.

btw NO DTC's

Well you found oil on the opti connector right? And you cleaned it out thoroughly? Where else did oil get?

Nowhere. Barely any oil was in it to begin with. There was no leak on any seals. and of course I cleaned everything thoroughly LOL. I spend the whole day cleaning each part. Pics are on the way for my other thread.
