Awesome News!! just be careful driving it. 1994 PCM im not 100% sure if the tranny pin outs are the same. you should look into your manuals some more. and make sure it will be a correct match after a flash. only reason i say this is because the 1994 tranny is wired different from 1995.

DemonWithin99 10-01-2011 08:40 AM

right ^ good flag to raise. 93' = 4l60. 94'+ = 4l60E and early 95' wired for OBDI. 95.5'+ were OBDII, not sure if it would cause any issues. Definitely go over it with the tuner.

KLAB 10-01-2011 01:36 PM

well thats nice why the fuck do they have the same part number!?!?!?!??!

I based it off if the 94-95 has same part number its the same PCM just gotta flash it after? I know the 93 ECU is a different part # as well as 96-97.

Boogers.

ILuvPizzaTimes10 10-01-2011 03:57 PM

there is no 95.5 demon. 1994 and 1995 are the same except a ground wire being fed to the TCC Solenoid. and i just wanted him to confirm that in his manual for any pcm pin out differences. hes right they are the same part number and service number for A4 cars. Hes good. the harness is Slightly different thats all. and it started Right up this morning. ECM went bad? From the flashing? ive never seen that?

I think Joe is thinking of V6 cars, which switched to OBDII halfway through 95 when they put the 3800 in.

KLAB 10-01-2011 09:02 PM

Joe's just trying to keep me confused. Hes sad I figured it out. The car runs and drives great guys. I'll be changing the shift points and speedo this week. I want to make a new tune, read the tune off the 94 and change if from there. No fucking with fuel tables for now until I do some more studying and get a new wideband sensor (that got wiped out too somehow).

SLP IROC-Z 10-01-2011 09:57 PM

good job kevin!

KLAB 10-02-2011 12:24 AM

thanks Joe did you go to the beach last night?

DemonWithin99 10-02-2011 12:38 AM

yeah Alex I'm that's what I was thinking. thought they did that in all models. (not trying to confuse you Kev.)

ILuvPizzaTimes10 10-02-2011 04:10 AM

How does the car run? Read the stock o2s threw the datalogger and make sure its not lean. 1994 and some 1995 ran a lot of timing so if your lean and have 48degrees advance its an issue.

SLP IROC-Z 10-02-2011 05:14 AM

yup i deeeeeeeed

Did you pass a maroon V6 Mustang? LOLLLL. My buddy called me and was like hey you know someone with a orange RS camaro. I was like its a Z with RS gfx yeah. he was like he went by me on the highway and chirped like every gear. I felt slow. bahaha

SLP IROC-Z 10-02-2011 04:09 PM

yup on 213 lol. did a pull from 2nd to top of 4th. chirped 3rd and 4th hard!

KLAB 10-02-2011 04:37 PM

I think it made an impression on him hahaha

Formula413 10-03-2011 12:56 PM

Hey Kev I was reading the LTX forum on LS1Tech and I saw this thread which might have some info relevant to your computer swap:

ILuvPizzaTimes10 10-03-2011 01:16 PM

theres a win!

KLAB 10-03-2011 03:27 PM

Thanks Alex, I already found that thread the other day and posted. I need to flash a 95 tune to the PCM. I do notice it grabs REAL low when it shifts to 4th. dips to like 900rpm and chugs along.

Now I just have to worry about fucking up this computer too, I don't want to flash the same tune I had on my stock PCM because I'm afraid theres something wrong with the file that fucked it up. :(

SO I think I'm going to find a stock 95 tune and go from there, open my old tune file and just do the same stuff for the speedo, shift pts, and gears to the 94 PCM.

Nice job man. Good job not letting it get the best of you. I had a issues after I rebuilt my m6 where the driverside o2 wasn't reading and causing that whole bank to run rich and stumble. Turned out my afr gauge was fried or something and causing the sensor to fry itself. I found this after I pulled the tranny back out to check the wiring harness. Haha.

Sure, let me find it if i can, cant remember where i put the file...

~Edit~ Not looking good, I have no idea where i put the file. I had tuner cats installed and a file folder with my stock and new tune, but the file and tunercats arnt installed on my computer any more for some reason...Looks like I'm gonna have to wipe my computer again, I hate losing files.
