There's no need for one really if your staying with the stock turbo. IWG would be fine for that power level. I had one on my wrx cause I wanted the noise lol. The car will be getting a 44mm ewg once I get a Dom 3 or a FP green HTA.

Nope I got the car in December. No lift shift is alright but still think I can shift it fast without using it. Launch control is fun and have been practicing with it so I don't look like a complete jack ass up there. Builds around 9psi before launching.

Should make a huge difference being able to launch with 9psi, what should the car be able to run? I have no idea what youve done to it lol

It should be into the 12s don't know how far it'll dip but a safe bet is high 12s. When I get home from work ill make a thread with what's done to it blah blah blah.

yeah i didnt mean with the stock turbo, haha. i figured theres some drop ins that still have an internal gate but obviously after a certain power level turbo options with iwg are not going to be an option.

Who cares what people think man, the track is the best place to practice! Come up to street night sometime.

Maybe you could answer this, but wtf is up with that fluttery noise on STI's? Sounds like a flutter noise from the wastegate. I think it sounds weird but I notice its only Subaru's that sound like that...

the fluttering noise is surge. it will happen under load if the turbo is being pushed beyond its limits.

fluttering is also from a electronic boost controller. A manual boost controller doesnt have it.
