Unless he's talking about the fluttering upon lift of the throttle. It's just like the turbo Buick regal's and its from the lack off a blow off/ bypass valve . The throttle shuts , compressed air has no where to go so it pushes back out of the inlet of the compressor housing. But , if they do have them then I'm wrong.

I usually hear it when its still acceleration at the top of gears at the track. So prob like Joe and Mike said. It sounds weird to me lol

Stock turbo? How much boost? Stock boost controller or no?

Not sure I just notice it as a spectator at the track on STI's running anywhere from 12s to 14s lol
