Those look awesome, I can't wait to get these for my car. As far as the light pattern goes, if I understand it right the housings I am getting are made for H4 bulbs so if I get H4 HIDs the light pattern will be correct, unless I'm missing something.

HIDs Tend to spread in a non-projector housing. It's not as noticeable in lower K value hid. I went 8000k in the fogs because I wanted a low wide spread of light (the whole point of fogs). I'm not doing that in the headlights though.

Here are night shots:

is that a standard bulb in the housing mark or Hid's?

ILuvPizzaTimes10 05-28-2010 01:19 AM

and Alex no an HID in a housing just made for a standard halogen wont spread properly. no matter what temp you get. it will spread farther then a standard bulb will. and to me i dont like that. i dont like always getting head beamed cuz people think im high beaming them. its not worth the aggrivation of getting pulled over FOR having my high beams on and i dont. ill get a GOOD standard xenon halogen type bulb just in a better housing.

the silverstars on my truck are INCREDIBLE!!!! they have a great color, great spread and i dont ever use my high beams(high beams are actually dimmer then the silverstars.) So ill go that route in the bird

Well I have silverstars now and they don't cut it. They are a tiny bit better than the regular H4666s but not much. Actually the low beams seem to have too little spread, it looks like two points on the road. I just want the best light possible.

I've posted all the pics I can to help until I git the HIDs for the headlights Alex. Hope it helps you out too.

Pizza I say get a set of these over the eurolamp versions. These things are quality pieces!

theres a big difference with a silverstar sealed beam over the housing Mark has with a quality H4 in it.

Maybe I'll get the housings and try Silverstar H4s in them and see if that's much of an improvement. I really like the idea of HIDs though.

I'll let you know/post pics when I get my HID lo beams. That is the route I'm going.
