getting closer to the source! I would have thought the sensor being gummed was the issue, but after cleaning it up that looks much better. my input is useless now. . . . lol
how about the sensor it plugs into? if the plugs wet chances are what it plugs into is drowning in oil.
dude did you see the pics lol. I took it all apart and rebuilt it and cleaned everything. Oil is no longer present.
dude ok!
dude, where is my (starting) car?
its not wiring. if it was the car wouldnt run at all. its something to do with the pcm not picking up the crank signal from the opti(crank trigger) a bad crank and cam sensor acts the same way. but it will run. i say sence it still runs the same after your "rebuild" its Not the opti. and its ECM related. get a junkyard one and flash it with your tune file.
I don't think its the opti. andddd all my PCM grounds are good. tested the ground pins out of a b c d connectors. I'm betting its PCM as well mmmmhmmmmmmmm but still gotta be sure. and then there's the question if it is the PCM, why?!??!??!??!? :(
:klab: |
cuz Frankenstein needs a brain!
I'm picking up a cheap 94 PCM today.
Checked every wire they all check out. 94 PCM is in and so far I can't get it to NOT start.... I'll consider the problem solved if it starts tomorrow morning. Then I guess I just gotta worry about trying to tune this PCM and not fry it like my stock one... :(
Tomorrow if its good I have to put the new o-rings on the opti drive and water pump gaskets and put it all back together. Bulletproof opti???? :D :klab: I think I made one.... |
