I tossed 4300k HIDs in my Camaro low beams and it helped a bunch. Super easy, too.

Rick how does 4300K look? I'm debating whether to get that or 5000K.

They will be similar. 4300k is your typical OEM HID look.

So I'm looking at two similar kits, but I'm not sure if there is any difference in quality. There is the one Mark posted on Amazon from Racing Lab:

http://www.amazon.com/Sealed-Headlig.../dp/B001QT9LMM

And one on eBay from Pro Street Lighting:

The one on eBay is cheaper since it's free shipping, but I can't really tell if either of these is better in any way, anyone have any thoughts? I don't mind paying more if that one is the better of the two.

Check the links, he's picking housings first.

The ebay ones look like they'll have a cleaner beam pattern (they're scallop free like the lmc truck ones I got). It also says the ebay ones come with new rubber boots, so they're less expensive and you get more!

Good point, I guess I'll go ahead and order those up.

As for color, I'm leaning towards the 5000K. I just want to avoid them looking blue. I seem to remember Mike's being pretty white. But before I even order the HID kit I'm going to try the halogen H4s that come with the housings just to see how they look. Supposedly even plain old halogen H4s are still better than what I have.

Get some pics up when you get them in. Want to see how yours turn out.

I have 5000Ks in my Subaru and they are Super White!!! 6000k is where it starts to look blue, but even then, it's just a hint of blue.
