use my adjustable lower control arms to....
Pull the rear tires forward of stock location so the 27" tires wont rub wen they expand at the track.
Is that A Stupid Idea? And Why? |
its what they are for so you can center the tires i did mine just remember if they are not 100% the same you will screw the alignment
why does yours rub my 27.5 don't??
wen they swelled up top track they JUST rubbed the bumper. my buddies do too? what tires are you running?
hoosier quick time pro's 27.5 x 11.5 x15
Hmm my 27 11.5 15 hoosiers rubbed. ill have to relook over my rear end placement. might bring it a few turns closer the the front wheels.
You will have to tweek your geometry with a 9" rear and 27" tires.
i suppose. the rear is sitting at stock location to a 7.5 so even if i had the 27's on a 7.5 i think i would have the same issue. right?
Remember John has a 12 bolt and you have a 9" in your car. Not much but there may be some differences.
You might. I can imagine when you're throwing all the torque from that monster at the rear that your suspension preload is quite high.
yeah ill have to revisit the rear end geometry. who has a pinion angle finder i can use?!?!
I borrowed one from mom and pop auto. So I'm sure you can do the same pizza.
