i have 5 GM acdelco motors if you want them cheap?

DemonWithin99 06-20-2010 05:20 AM

not sure i want oem gm. many have sworn the doorman motors last a bit longer. could be wrong.. (are they new?)

KLAB 06-20-2010 11:32 AM

Mike where the frig were you when i did mine? hahaah the doorman ones work good nice and fast and smooth and like you said they supposedly last long to consider is that the doorman is FUCKIN LOUDDDDDDD! haha the gears or whatever are way louder than the gm maybe its just gotta wea after a wh. shouldnt be hard to change just plug your window switch back in after you take the panel off so you can move the window around.

i just do the drill cheat after adam showed me. and Yes they are Brand new in the box. the doorman is just an acdelco reboxed. they dont make there own. lasts longer is all a matter of how you use your window. if you let it go down and hold it down not paying attention it burns em up quick. and the suto down switches will also burn em up as well. i never let mine go down on its own and have never had a problem with a window motor after replaced

How the hell you get a rivet gun in there I just used lil screws and nuts and did it that way.

BrokenFeather78 06-23-2010 01:14 AM

Articulated head. Still a pain but can be done.

ILuvPizzaTimes10 06-23-2010 04:12 AM

USE BOLTS!!!! you dont even need to take the regulator down!

BryanH 06-23-2010 06:13 PM

You know you guys can buy one from autozone, and then you get free replacements for life?

KLAB 06-23-2010 09:10 PM
