Nasty 5th Gen
 

I was hanging out at BK on the Berlin Turnpike last night and this car rolled in:

As you can see it's rolling on Bogart wheels, but the real story is under the hood. It's got a Vortech supercharger running 10.5 pounds of boost. It's a stick shift and has gone 10.6 in the 1/4 so far. Made 725 hp to the wheels. Only thing done to the engine is a blower cam, stock heads, stock bottom end. Drivetrain is stock too, they are having issues with wheel hop launching it, 1.6 second 60' times. All the work was done by Jannetty Racing in Waterbury. This thing sounds nasty as you would imagine.

Thats in CT right? I remember rollin through there one time in my cousins accord lol, there were cars EVERYWHERE! People racin from stoplights all over the place. Street racing central over there. lol

Update: saw this car again yesterday down on the pike. One major change: it is no longer an M6 car, they got tired of breaking stuff and swapped it to a TH400 (or 350, I forget which) with a 5500 stall converter. It went a best of 10.5 as a stick car, it's gone 10.0 so far still sorting stuff out, should be in the nines soon. Still stock bottom end, has a ford 9" housing with the stock IRS.

That 5th gen is total bad ass to, but its even uglier then... another make and model of GM cars that a few people own on here so I wont talk to much shit LOL
