Picked it up for 16 with 10,500 miles on it. Not a steal but it was either this or a 2000 z28 convert with 45,000 miles for 14. I think i did alright on it. What do you guys think? Thanks! Im really happy with it. I wanted a black m6 ss and when i saw this one with the miles it was like heaven. I put a holding payment on it within 15 minutes haha.

Thanks, i hope to have full bolt-ons in the next few years. Then Cam then maybe procharge it... should build the rear end before i do the latter though.

KLAB 01-13-2011 02:23 PM

Hey dood! sup? Nice ss. I don't like the offset plate tho lol.

LSX-Nation 01-13-2011 06:05 PM

Me either but here in Mass we need a front license plate :( and the car didn't have a mount on it when i bought it in Sept so i just wire-tied it LOL Ill have to get it mounted for the spring.

941LE 01-13-2011 06:07 PM

or just leave it off. i havent ran a front plate on any of my cars.

Formula413 01-13-2011 06:30 PM

Pick up a Show 'n Go plate holder. Lets the plate slide down under the bumper. You can flip it up for inspections and such. That's what I got for my car.

irockidz28 01-13-2011 11:06 PM

i live in mass..i keep my plate in my tool box except for when i need to get it inspected

I'm in Mass too and I have no plate :) I keep it in the trunk of my car and if I get pulled over for no plate (haven't since I took it off in 2008) I'll just say it came off in the carwash and I'm on my way home to fix it. My car is always clean anyways so they'll believe me.
HA :D :klab:

oh and for inspections I just double sided tape the plate and bracket on real quick. My bumper has no holes :)

LSX-Nation 01-16-2011 04:51 PM

Thats a good idea ill try and roll without a plate and see how its goes, if that doesn't work then ill get one of those ones that flip up and down. Im not worried about inspection i got a sticker with just wire ties holding it on there.

Formula413 01-16-2011 05:32 PM

Part of the reason I got the Show n Go is that there is nothing on my bumper to zip tie it to, and I just had it painted so I'm not drilling holes in it.

bottledbird68 01-17-2011 04:20 AM

I have to run a front plate on everything. I tried leaving it off the z after I painted it and didn't even make it a week without getting yanked. Damn small towns we drive through to get to work...

LSX-Nation 01-19-2011 05:47 PM

Thats whats going to happen to me. There is nothing for the cops to do here in stow so they would be glad to pull me over. Well see.
