But im gunna go for the new 4.3. i dunno if i want to though. we are usuing vBulletin currently without there support and they can at anytime shut us down Wich i kept on the DL so you guys wouldnt be bothered. So im gunna look into the new software after we pay for the Reup. it may or may not be very good. i might do a test run on the server first to see how i like it. what do you guys think? Iff that makes any rambled on sense?

So how much to run the site on a monthly basis????

Break it down by year would be the best. but monthly its 12 a month. then add the yearly cost of vBulletin. $195(used to be $100 to Lease) and $25 for the domain name for a year and its enough to make a dent in my pocket.

OK So we are current with vBulletin. now just waiting on the time to get the server switched to the new software. the site will go down. ill try and do it either early morning of late night so it doesnt really effect anyone/if anything wrong should happen i have time to fix it. haha

haha dobt worry i will. but lucky for me i learn from my mistakes pretty quickly. i just hope the new update will fix some of the bugs i dont like with 3.8.4 wich we are using now. THANX AGAIN GUYS for all your support i cant do it with out you all!!!!

haha i didnt change it yet. they have a free use server for the new software and you can test drive it. the admin panel is CRAPP TASTIC!

yeah all the cool shit we have wont work in version 4.0 without alot of recoding would take me the better part of the weekend and it would still not be completely what we have. as far as i know there still supporting 3.8.4 and wen they stop then we'll switch.

Seems like a lot of software gets rid of cool features with new releases, fuckin lame

Its not very hard to update the software. But vbulletin.org is who I got the mods from. Ie:chat box, member map, and the styles we use. Most of wich were all made by a third party and added to the list of mods at vbulletin.org. now its up to the original modder to update there there mod. Most have not for vb4 cuz its a pos so far. Best exxplained windows vist and now 7. I'm just waiting for the better vb4 to hit then I'm game. But to be honest I like the software we have vb3.8. I've gotten used to it and we all know were everything is vb4 changes some shit around that I don't like.
