found a deal...

found a deal on CL for a set of OEM C6 wheels 18x9.5 19x10.5 with tires. good $$ but wasn't sure if I wanted to deal with the ABS light all day. or if there was a way around having to deal with it. or save more$$ get the right sizes...?

frankzlt1 02-11-2011 11:15 AM

what do you mean the abs light will go on?

Wheel size won't matter, just have to get the right size tires so the wheels have the same outside Diameter

c4boom 02-11-2011 04:13 PM

vets use the same size outer diameter front rear I thought

DemonWithin99 02-11-2011 04:40 PM

i thought so to but many ppl say not only will i need 1.25" spacers but the tire size would be off.

c6 OEM Tire Sizes Are: 245/40-18,285/35-19

would rather not have to buy new rear tires but if i must I'll consider oewheels.

BadBird505 02-11-2011 05:07 PM

you can buy my wheels for $800

DemonWithin99 02-11-2011 05:13 PM

the deal is for $500... and local.... :( I really like the deal but wife is due any day and can only swing so much $ on short notice.
if I could charge it it'd be better for me.

BadBird505 02-11-2011 05:16 PM

$500 is a sweet deal

DemonWithin99 02-11-2011 05:46 PM

but I think I might be better off buying different rear tires. which brings cost up and your tire sizes are off just a lil bit, not a big deal, but still if you had a paypal acct I could charge it to it'd work better for me. otherwise I might fight with these

Original Equipment C6 wheels do not fit your car. you will need a spacer and a set of wheels studs. as well as WS6 Store bump stop spacers so the tires dont rub the inside of the wheel wells on hard bump/hits.
