95 z28, six speed w/ custom real fire flames

Well, got too many projects and I'm thinking it's time to let one go. Up for sale is a 1995 z28 with lots of mods.

Engine:
Lt1 350 with ported heads and intake. Lt4 hot cam, 1.6 roller rockers. Pacesetter mid length headers and magnaflow cat back. Msd optispark, Taylor ignition wires, recent spark plugs. Cold air intake. PCM4less tuned ecu. Car put 319 horsepower to the rear wheels on a mustang dyno. Was told motor had about 10k on a rebuild when I bought the car and we've put another 20k or so on it.
Transmission/rear end:
T56 six speed with pro5.0 shifter. Was told it was rebuilt about 50k before we bought it. Shifts flawlessly and has never had any issues popping out of gear.
Rear end is a 10 bolt posi rear with 3.42 gears.
Interior:
Complete 30th anniversary Camaro interior swap out of a 97 Camaro. Interior is grey cloth with red inserts in the seats. Entire dashboard was also swapped at the same time for the 97 up style dash. Interior is in very good shape. Complete aftermarket stereo with Bluetooth enabled head unit, aftermarket door and rear speakers, as well as 2 10" subwoofers on the rear deck. In no way does any of it interfere with the t top storage area so no worries there.
Exterior:
Just painted last fall. Body is super clean, no rust underneath as well. Car is black with real fire flames airbrushed on the entire nose and onto the doors.
Wheels are black c6 zr1 replica wheels in 17" front and 18" rear with 275/40's

Been chasing a couple issues recently. Car is 85% right now. Make an offer as is with a mild stumble when you lean on it hard or asking $6,800 if I sort out the issue. Found something else we want and this one needs to go to make the numbers work. Email or call/text 508-410-8078. Thank you

Interior shot before before the paint job. Jambs were redone black when the exterior was done.

Somebody buy this before I bring it to the dealer and use it for a trade in on Sunday!
Or I take the offer I had to pull the drivetrain and sell it as a roller!

c4boom 09-09-2011 02:12 AM

use the jeep as a trade and sell the camaro as a roller

bottledbird68 09-09-2011 02:30 AM

May actually just trade them both in. If they give me the number I have in my head it's gone.
Would almost like to keep the jeep for the winter though. I dunno. We'll see...

ILuvPizzaTimes10 09-09-2011 12:55 PM

were is the white truck? thats a winter beater.

We need two. I'll have the truck cause she hates driving it lol.
Back and forth to Athol twice a day now for the kids with school.
And no, Subaru is not a winter car. Especially for that roundtrip in the salt/sand all winter long on rt2

Either way, told the dealership about the car and what I wanted for a number. Heading over there sunday so they can look it over. May be gone then if they're in the same ballpark as me. Unless I get a cash offer before then

bottledbird68 09-11-2011 08:36 PM

Ok, went to the dealership today and put a deposit on a new car so this one needs to go ASAP or it's getting traded in.

So, it's got a stumble and a minor oil leak. Im going to pull the subs and take it as is $4,800 obo.
Or, I'd consider selling it as a roller for $3,000 obo.

Formula413 09-19-2011 02:03 AM

Oh no....sounds like bad news.

DemonWithin99 09-19-2011 07:55 AM

Klab needs a car that starts.... lol

bottledbird68 09-19-2011 01:42 PM

Yeah David, dealership aggravated us so we went and got our deposit back. After getting three different calls and talking to four different people, and, hearing a different story from all of them we told them to go pound sand. Give us our money back thank you lol.
This is still for sale but the money may just get funneled into the 68 instead now. I dunno though, if the right deal comes along who knows :)

bottledbird68 10-10-2011 08:31 PM

Ok, we've had it. Car pulls mint to red line. Has a nasty off idle stumble.
We're done with it.
$4,000 firm bottom line as is. Spread the word. Want it gone ASAP.

bottledbird68 10-18-2011 01:36 AM

Ok, had an lt1 guru come down and plug it in.
No codes and nothin in the tune shows anything's off. However, it's now pouring clouds of smoke out whenever it's running and it will barely idle.
So, $3,000 firm complete car or $2,000 as a roller. Want it gone ASAP. I am NOT fixing this thing if I can help it. Pretty sure it needs a motor and I have zero desire to bother.

bottledbird68 10-21-2011 06:54 PM

Bump! WANT THIS GONE ASAP!!!!!

Tired of looking at it and moving it around every day

bottledbird68 10-27-2011 01:11 AM

Cars all fixed, runs mint. Price goes back up now unless we decide to keep it :)

Shoulda dove on it at 3k guys, was an easy fix lol.

If i had had three grand the day you offered it up i would have bought it, I even tried to get my dad to buy it lol

Formula413 10-27-2011 04:15 PM

Honestly you'll be lucky to get 3k for it running nowadays

ZFreie 10-27-2011 04:23 PM

I wanted the t56 and clean body lol

bottledbird68 09-08-2012 06:43 PM

Still got it bump!

Here's the updated Craigslist ad. Whole as is? Stock wheels, no stereo? Roller?
Don't like the paint and want it all black? I'm open. Would love to move it. I don't need it and almost never drive the car. Open to trades of almost any sort too.
Let's talk. I'm about to just give up and keep it but would rather move on to other stuff.

LSX-Nation 09-08-2012 09:05 PM

What was the problem if you don't mind me asking? What's the mileage, interior looks mint. Car looks good although flames are not my thing I'm.sure you can find SOMEONE to pay 4200 on it... 2 1/2 years ago I would of let you keep the Rims and the sound system, paint the whole car black and i would pay 4500-4800 for it.

bottledbird68 09-08-2012 10:05 PM

The problem then was a bad fuel pressure regulator.
Body has over 200k on it by you'd never know it. Super clean underneath.
Motor has between 30-40k and tranny maybe twice that.
I didn't think I'd have any problem getting the kind of money I'm looking for but here I am a year later and no luck.
I'm not going to give it away either cause I don't NEED to sell it. I just WANT to sell it. I almost never drive it and once my other toys are done all it's going to do is sit.

bottledbird68 09-12-2012 06:35 AM

Wow, 888 views and not a single offer. Asking price is far from firm. Getting ready to throw more money at it and just keep the damn thing. Would rather move it though. Open to all reasonable offers and/or trades...

941LE 09-12-2012 08:58 AM

A great one from DD? Lol

bottledbird68 09-12-2012 01:47 PM

Throw in a few steak and cheddars and we'll talk lol.

941LE 09-12-2012 02:10 PM

Lol that can be arranged.

KLAB 09-13-2012 02:45 PM

I think you would be better off parting it out. Not many people will want a 200k+ car but would prob sell as a roller for someone who wants a cheap clean LTx shell WITH flames and fresh paint. I would be interested in the interior and possibly heads, who are they ported by?

:klab:

bottledbird68 09-13-2012 04:01 PM

Yeah but the only thing 200k about it is the shell. And even then the odometer doesnt read it.
But, I hear ya on parting it. I'm just not ready to do that unless I have buyers for everything. I'd rather keep it and use it than sit on half of it.
No idea who the heads were ported by. They came on the car when I bought it. All I know is the motor put down 319 at the wheels on slowhawks dyno. Was told it has a hot cam too but I don't really know for sure what anything is on it.

bottledbird68 09-13-2012 04:02 PM

But, that being said, if I had buyers for the shell, motor, trans, and interior I'd tear the car apart. You guys want to be vultures let me know and I'll start stripping it lol.

KLAB 09-13-2012 04:31 PM

yeah thats why the low mileage parts you can sell for more and someone who wants a shell for a race car or what have you probably doesn't care about the mileage esp if they have their own drivetrain.

post it on ls tech gaging interest for a partout (shell, trans, wheels, motor, interior). I bet youll get hits for the wheels and motor.

BigMac76 09-13-2012 04:36 PM

Hell, I could be interested in the rims and tires depending on price and condition.

bottledbird68 09-13-2012 05:40 PM

Wheels I want to keep if I part it. The rest of the car can go lol.
I know trans will be an easy sell too. Basically I just want to make enough to ls/t56 swap my turd gen. That would make me happy. I miss that car

KLAB 09-13-2012 08:20 PM

yeah that thing is awesome

bottledbird68 09-13-2012 09:49 PM

Thank you. I really want it back. I love driving that car.

Formula413 09-14-2012 12:22 AM

Would you consider putting this drivetrain in the 3rd gen or are you set on an LS?

bottledbird68 09-14-2012 01:01 AM

I would really rather an ls motor but if all I can sell is the shell then I'd consider swapping this motor/trans. Trust me, it's been discussed.
But, if I can sell the shell I know the trans is an easy sell so if all I have to sit on is the motor I'm ok with that. Basically if someone wants the shell I'll make a deal so offer away lol.

ILuvPizzaTimes10 09-14-2012 01:26 AM

You can change an lt1 t56 over to an ls1 t56 really easily.

bottledbird68 09-14-2012 01:40 AM

I know that but then I have to buy the input shaft, front plate, and bellhousing.
If I sell mine I can just plunk the cash down on an ls t56 and not cost myself anything. Or do a straight trade with someone.

ILuvPizzaTimes10 09-14-2012 01:58 AM

I suppose. the way I look at it you know your transmission is good you are not getting a mystery.

bottledbird68 09-14-2012 02:12 AM

Yeah but the input shaft, front cover, and bellhousing are like $5-600.
I'll take my chances to save that kind of money.
