Well, I finally found time to get on here and post pics of my build. It took me about 2 weeks in my garage freezing my twig and berries off, but I'm very happy with how it came out. Nobody else touched it, only me, that's what makes me the happiest!

-ported/polished with valve job 241 heads
-new valves
-Comp springs
-Moly Pushrods
-GM Performance lifters
-Livernois stage 2 cam .595/.595 lift, .232/.232 duration, 114 lsa
-SLP ported oil pump
-LS6 timing chain

Dyno Numbers: 388 whp, 373 ft/lbs torque

Stock intake manifold and injectors are really choking it. I already bought the Bosch 42 lb/hr injectors but I'm waiting to get an LS6 intake manifold so I can do them both together.

i think the 12 bolt is a better setup for a street car. the 9" housing takes up alot of space under the car. my quick performance torque arm bracket hits the top of the trans tunnel when the suspension compresses. the moser 9" torque arm will hit the trans tunnel to but seems there theres more clearance and its a stronger/better design. but on the other hand 9" components are readily available, you can source good used parts for short money & its a stronger setup over all.

12 bolts are good for auto's 9" is good for 6 speed as far as mild street strip cars go. ive seen Way too many 12 bolts go boom. John a handfull of times. mikes makes noise. Adam(nemss) has had a few issues with his setup. and thats all 3 people i know that own them personally. go on tech and do a good search of the reliability. Thats my opinion only But they SUCK!

I still plan on getting a 12 bolt, i figure with sub 400whp, lightened and no slicks with my auto and 3.42s it should survive. i want one cause its lighter and more efficent then a 9".

My wife's car 400 rwhp 460tq doing good so far. Sam ad 600+ and his 10 bolt was fine. As long as you load it up on launches and don't shock them they are fine usualy

I've driven vinnys car, goes good !! He should just get some moser axles a better gear and not launch to holy balls out of it on DRs and shouldn't be too much of an issue, vin doesn't really beat on his car.

unless you find a good deal on a 12 bolt like 1200 to 1800 id get a moser 9 inch and just pound a hump up for the TA. thats what i did when i had my nine inch...should have kept it but i can't complain about my 12 bolt so far...not to noisy for 4.56s...

baha too late! :p It's a shame they would've been better than the ported 241's... but I'm happy. and once I get the ls6 intake on there and get it back on the dyno it should make over 400 for both hp and tq :)
