No Way!! LS1's are no fun those things are easy to make power with i want a challenge. stuffing my LT1 in it with an EFI Connections setup to run the LS1 PCM and be able to pass the OBD2 plug-in. should be interesting.

OHH and its staying a "Formula" i might do the High Rise off the T/A and have it painted to match. but yeah no Trans Am i like the Firebird nose alot on the 98+ cars.

Shouldn't be too hard, but can you get the computer to work with the car is a bigger question.

yeah exactly i could make a standalone setup but that's not what i want. and plus wen i get an LS1 PCM in the Car who can tun it better then anyone?!?!? Thats my ultimate goal depending on money. if i cant afford it all at once then im gunna run the 1993 PCM as a standalone and figure you speedo and tach for now kinda thing.

ohh they will feather Fucker!! soon enough it will all come together. i have looked up quite a bit of info on this whole swap bullshit. and to do a 1998 V6 car all you need is the EFI harness and PCM from a 1998 LS1 and its a direct fit with a V8 Gauge cluster and interior harness. So im on the look out for the 1998 shit. the harness from a 1999 MIGHT be the same but the cluster and pcm are way different. ill also have to change the gas tank and fuel level sender as well if i go 1999 up pcm. so i think ill stick with the 1998 PCM. im sure Don is very good at what he does and with my mild setup the limitations of the 1998 PCM(wich FARRRRR out performs the 1993 ecm) ill have it tuned properly and with no problems after im done.

there is a kit available that eliminates the opti in that kind of conversion. it uses all stock gm parts. I saw a write up on it in GM High Tech I think. you can run using coil packs and make things a little easier for you.

and get a tubular cradle if you dont already.

^^ yeah thats what i was thinking, i hadnt seen it all together so i was scared to try it. cuz well you have to cut slits in the rocker panels to get the side skirts to clip on properly. IM ALLL SETTT with cutting holes in the car for a MAYBE. i LOVE that White Formy. not a HUGE fan of the wheels though. i dunno why everyone creams over them.

cut slits shit that's nothing i had to cut and weld attachment rails into the rockers of squishy after I just spent over 80 hours hand forming both sides of the car LOL
