How much power will my car make?
 

As many of you know, my car has been at Don's since febuary. I don't know what my car will make but i wanted to hear what you think... Setup is...

408ci forged iron shortblock, fast 90, NW 90, kooks headers, TSP true duals, trickflow heads, smaller cam.... Car made 485rwhp/455rwtq N/A on first breakin pull....

Now don's putting on a D1SC custom built inhouse 8 rib setup, front mount I/C, aster bracket, 4 gal meth cell, dual intank racetronix pumps with a return style fuel system....

How many pounds of boost?

Depending on boost but maxing out that blower you hould be low 700's

looking to make 12 lbs of boost, which would be just about maxing this blower out

T56 or auto. What gears and rear also.

the car has a moser 9" with 3.55's and t56

Uhhhmmm, yeah you should make some rediculous and completely unnecessary, yet somehow necessary amount of horsepower which will result in humans of the female gender to get instantly wet and drop their panties (if they're wearing any).

The blower will limit peak hp but peak hp is just the big dick factor.

I want 600-650ft'lbs of torque in the midrange. I could care less about the peak hp.

If you see 12psi, I would go as high as 750 whp. Intercooled 5.3 with a bar of boost are seeing low 600's.

Cant compare turbo power to centrifical blower power. Two different power curves.

Like Slowhawk said, peak hp is like trying to see who's got the bigger dick. It doesn't mean shit if you can't get it to the ground :D
