Anyone have a stock A4 shifter?
 

I want a spare one or just the part the shifter shaft/rod is attached to so I can cut it shorter, lil trick ;) But I don't wanna destroy mine. Let me know if you got one I'll probably take it off your hands :P

DAMN! I was slacking, I shoulda posted it up earlier. I'm obv looking for the 4th gen one but they might be the same anyways... But, what about those headlights???? ;)

Because I'm going to cut one down shorter so that my leather shift boot out of an auto grand am fits nicely, and don't wanna ruin the stock one. I put the boot in the other day and doesn't reach the bottom of the know. It looks nice tho if only I cut it like half inch. I got a t-handle shifter too! Looks ILL but no pics for you guys till I'm done. Pizza hooked me up with an ashtray lid and I'm still working on the gauge pod that I made to fill in between the dash and the LS1 console. There's gonna be a fan switch on it too :D

It is the same as the 4th right? I just thought it might be different because there are more controls for the 4L60E than just the 4L60 right?

there arent even close to the same. even the bolt patterns are different were it bolts to the floor. and the other problem is the 4L60E switch thats on the shifter. unless you wanted to convert to the truck 4L60E tranny mounted switch stick with a 4th gen shifter.

o i thought he was lookin for a different part not the whole thing..n/m got confused

yeah no even the center post/shift handle is a different setup.
