2016 Quabbin cruise roll call!!! Saturday 5/21
 

I'm sure you guys know the drill by now. Our annual Spring cruise around the Quabbin reservoir will take place Saturday, May 21st (rain date May 22nd). For our newer members who haven't been yet this is always a good time, and an awesome route along some scenic backroads, ending at the lookout tower overlooking the reservoir. Our meeting spot will remain the same, the Big Y parking lot in Palmer off exit 8 on the Mass Pike. We will be departing at noon but plan to arrive early. There will be a limited grace period of no more than 15 minutes, if you are running late you will have to catch up. Here's a map of the route:

My friend and I are in. Going to cruise in his MS6. If he can't make it for some reason I'm still planning on coming I just need to ride with someone.

Thanks Dave, and thanks everyone for coming! We lucked out with the weather, the rain held off and it was a nice cool day. Felt great to be out cruising again.

I'm can put a 5 gallon spare in my trunk for you Dawg, for emergency purposes!

I get about 10 mpg and over the last 5 years, I have never run out. I always fill up at the end of the cruise and hit the same spot right before getting back on the highway to come home.

sounds like a plan then,I have had bad luck in recent years with bad gas from the pump at various spots. I got spare gas containers though.
