Picked up the motor this evening with my buddy Rob. What a trip. Wasn't very far but missed like every turn and got lost in the middle of woods. 4 of us lifted the bitch into the back of my 86 chevy and took it home. I hit a huge bump on the highway at a bridge and we literally watched an LT1 on an engine stand get 1ft of air and then land back on all 4 wheels. Looks real good, definitely a good start for a strong motor build. Now its nice and cozy in my shed. I'll be posting pics up soon. :D

EFI Connections sells a retro fit for the LT1 to put the LS1 coil on plug ignition and complete ECM and it gets rig of the opti completely.

its only about a grand for the full swap with all there parts. i can do it less. But thats re wiring half the car myself. wouldnt recommend that to you. unless you have been there before? SUX haha
