gave my 700R4 with flood damage to a trans guy over a month ago and i dont think he has touched it yet. but im getting the friend-of-a-friend discount, so i dont dare bug him about it.
my buddy picked up his 'vette from the same shop last week and i guess the tranny guy has a ton of work. so, yeh.

ordered a S&W Race Cars adjustable torque arm yesterday but they are on back order for 7-10 days... but its not im in any big hurry for it anyway.

gotta get down to the junkyard tomorrow prolly to gut a couple camaro doors that has manual roll up windows. anybody need any tail lights that are in very good condition?? last time i was down there [a week ago] i saw atleast 3 pair of good looking tail lights, one of the set was the sectional ones, are those IROC or something? i personally dont like those, but was thinking of picking them up anyway.

i also see that got a new camaro in there this week, a '91, so ill check it out also.

That is why friend of a friend discounts suck and are good at the sametime. Usually it takes forever but the deal is also usually awesome. Just gotta way the options if its worth the wait or not.

Yup, but It'll get done. I would ask about it though if it were me. Just seeing if it'll be done this year.. you know.. lol

i knew someone that went thru something like that with his tranny and "friends" but last time i talked to him it had been 2 years and he still hadnt gotten it back lol hope u have better luck lol

daaaaaaang.... well. i went by the shop at 1.30pm today [friday] and NOBODY was there... no wonder nothing is getting done, amirite?
ill give him another week then look into just doing it myself or taking it somewhere else.

^^ LAME!!! ^^ yeah take it out of there the price savings on a tranny might not be worth it. theres alot of ways to cut corners that you cant see till it blows up.
