i recently installed a new clutch and flywheel from napa auto parts, complete LS6 LUK clutch with new slave cylinder it cost the guy 450 for the whole setup.

^ will look into that I know the ls6 kit comes with the flywheel which is a plus. he's going to get it looked at by the shop and make sure he needs one for sure. (not sure if it was ever replaced) car has over 100k on it and owned by a lil old lady.

what else would it be? haha not much there. unless you see a TON of fluid dripping from the slave. its the clutch. and even if it wasnt the clutch Just yet 100k and you have to pull the tranny to check the hydrualics. just replace it while your there.

GMPP LS6 clutch is usually about 450 bux, my dads in the same boat with a stock car that doesnt get beat on much. That was his choice.

his clutch pedal sticks to the floor if it's held down too long. I took it for a drive las month and sat at a stop light in 1st and it just wouldn't come back up off the floor.

it's a common problem even if the clutch is fine it could just be the fluid or the master.
it's going in to get looked at and check on the clutch itself 1st, and if it needs one then he'll get it all done.
