I have a 99' stock T/B with the EGR pipe running into it...

Batman 11-02-2009 07:57 PM

Ummmm, EGR runs into the manifold behind the T/B

What kinda gains can be seen with a ported TB?

ls6monte 11-03-2009 01:27 AM

Don ported mine on the 23rd and I went to the track that night. I had new tires and the mentioned tb. The cold air helped but I still took 2 tenths off my time from 2 days before!

My84Z 11-03-2009 01:31 AM

I have seen gains as high as 11rwhp with tuning when I did mine on a stock tune I gained 1 rwhp and 10 rwtq but I have seen everything in between also.

Slowhawk 11-03-2009 03:49 AM

The TB is ussually 8hp on a stockish car.Your fathers car would gain alot more with just getting it tuned.
