3800 v6 head "porting"-ish
 

I'm porting-ish polishing my heads! YAY! I just finishing smoothing out the exhaust ports on one head and am about to move to the other. I think I might need to replace the valves, the tip of a the valve stem just about the retainers almost looks to be separating. I'll have pics of the heads so far and the valves to see what your guys take on this is

didnt you have flat lifters? if so the extra back lash can cause smashed look on the top of the valve. its acually not going to hurt anything on a daily driver as long as you fix whats causing it!

these are spare castings that I have that came with valvesprings assembled an whatnot, these aren't the ones off of my camaro, I'm just going to swap them out when I do the lifters on my car, cause one is sticking

not much, I'm really only polishing the ports and I'm still need an intake gasket to port match

I should port/polish my saturn head. bolt a dsm mani on it and 14b hehe
