The plane that hit the smaller plane is the largest airliner in the world at the moment(Airbus 380). I believe it is a quarter times larger than the 747.

Yeah OK.....it is shorter than a 747-800 (238 feet long Vs 250 for the 747-800), but it is fatter and has bigger wings. Seating wise I'll agree with that statement but it really isn't that big, just fat.
