fiberglass kick panels
here is a few pictures of a pair of fiberglass kick panels I made for my car. I think made these about 7 years ago before I even painted my car and they are holding up perfect so far. The reason I made these is that the aftermarket ones are junk. They are cheap plastic and rattle like hell.

those are actually a bad ass idea! i love that my fireturd has them inn the doors already. yet i can NEVER get a radio to sound good in an f bucket with out spending ALOT on nice speakers and head unit. So i leave it stock.

nice I've thought about doing that with my kick panels for a while

I made the rings out of MDF and used wooden dowels and hot glue to make the frame. Then it was just a matter of stretching some nylon material over it and fiberglassing it. I didnt have to get picky with sanding since I was covering it with carpet anyway. The crossovers for the components are tucked up under the dash. I have my amps mounting inside my rear seats
