1978 Camaro
 

Ok I think this is a record for even me. I have never been a fan of second generation camaros and this one isn't an exception but figured it would be an easier sell than the 67 as it runs and drives. The camaro has a "built" 406, 4 speed transmission and 9" rearend. The previous owner had some guy in Ct. build the motor but didn't know much about it. It obviously has a cam but other than that I don't know much about it. It starts right up and runs like a raped ape, has no problem lighting up the tires and sounds mean as hell. Clutch feels good and it is fun to mess around in. It does need some work, interior needs to be redone and the paint is a 10 foot job, floors and body are in great shape. I drove it to work yesterday and today without any issues except I miss air conditioning! I am going to put it on Craigslist for $4500 obo but as always anybody here can have it cheaper. $3500 obo.

Honestly I usually do. I always make sure I can get my money back out of whatever I buy and so far I've done very good. This was more of an impulse than most. I wanted the 67 gone but everybody that looked at it wanted a finished car for next to nothing. This car would be much easier to sell.

I really don't want to part it out yet. The 9" does have Strange axles in it. I could probably make more parting it out but like I said I would rather get rid of the car whole. I'll have new pics up tonight.

It has to end? I have a bad case of VADD! I decided I need 4 cars and this isn't one of them. I'm keeping the 98 for a little while, I want a chevelle because I've never owned one and I need a truck. The fourth one will be the one that keeps changing.

Fuck it as long as you come out on top and have fun doing it keep on going!

My friend is selling his 70 Chevelle with a 427BBC and 700r4 trans if you are interested. It got painted a few years ago and hasn't been used much due to his job. Pm if interested and i'll get in touch so you can both talk.
