Exactly! It's geared for probably 40 mph TOPS around a track. It's also not a lightweight vehicle. lol

Sounds like it's a Powerglide, nowhere near enough gear even for the 1/8th. Kinda funny how they unhooked the front axle.

what the hell are the sparks from on those things all the time

i think its the rear brakes. cool but it's much better to watch them on the dirt.

Sparks are from pinion brakes..the rotor is on the pinion..watch them get on the brakes hard a couple times an you will see it glowing..one brake per 5ton housing..as for trans last i new he ran th400s..he ran out of gear on that pass.can hear it..an that is moving for 5 ton truck..also remeber hes right at 1400-1500hp with that motor do to rules..he only has a 8-71 on that thing..put a screw on that thing an your talking double the hp.

Dennis has a sick mud truck(king of sling) its half the weight of digger an has the same motor an uses cut tractor tires instead..its a monster truck really though..

His son ryans willys mud truck i like more..its a actual truck an it gets shit done..both trucks are on youtube..son uv digger is the name of it.
