A lot of the newer Dodge and Chrysler vehicles have received less than stellar reviews...I remember the Caliber getting torn to shreds when it came out, and it's already gone. I certainly wouldn't buy one of these until they've been out for a year or two. And yes to the practice of slapping classic name plates on pedestrian appliance cars being weak sauce. Nova anyone?

DemonWithin99 04-26-2012 03:00 AM

Don't care about the name. It's the car I'm impressed with. And we will continue to see Italian infused mopar as the way of the future.

it will also replace the caliber

ILuvPizzaTimes10 04-26-2012 03:05 AM

not a good thing. parts will cost more and reliability has always been in the toilet with most European cars!

DemonWithin99 04-26-2012 03:10 AM

if you read anything, the entire car and it's parts will be manufactured here. It's style, and reliability that Dodge has been weak on in recent years that Fiat will bring to the table.

all 3 of the engines are just redesigned current platforms.

and 2013 starts the infusion of that Italian influence everything up till now has been sub-par
