Drag Radial ?

I run 275/50 15 BFG's on my monte. My friend has a bunch of 275/60 15 MT's I believe. The 50's are 26" tall tires and the 60's are 28" I believe.

Does anybody know how this would affect my times if I ran the 60 series? I can get these tires for nothing which is why I'm asking.

I can tell you they will fuck up your shift points more then ets lol

its like going from a 4.10 to a 3.73 rear gear(not exactly but its gives you the idea). unless you NEED them for the 60 foot or to not run out of gear up top. they will slow you down. maybe ~.2ET and 2-5mph Roughly! but for free and for fun who gives a shit!

check to see if theyll fit first

Like Joe said, see if they fit first. And they probably could screw up your shift points. Another reason why you need a T-56!!! Or a full manual valve body!!!

Thanks guys! I knew it would be slower due to the taller tire. I just wasn't what other issues I would have.

Now will it shift early or late? going from a numerically lower to higher gear it will hit the limiter then shift at WOT. SO its going to shift early with the taller tires. Damn autos Suck!!!

It would shift early but the tires would probably hit the car anyways.
