Getting to Starter Wiring

Pulling the Engine/tranny to do some work this winter
Car should be a 10 second car once Don gets done with it

Pulling the engine and tranny and was hoping to keep the headers attached to the engine but finding getting to the wiring down by the starter to be a little tough to get to.

i dont know how your k-member/framing is setup on an RX7 but i usually drop the starter(battery disconnected) and pull wires off after its loose from the engine and i can swing it around.

Hmm didnt really think of that.. I may just pull the headers or the starter. I wanted to see if anyone had any tips or tricks I was thinking I may have enough length in the harness that I can pull the engine out of the engine bay a couple feet and get in there with a wrench

just drop the starter there really isnt much room to grow with the starter solenoid wire!

If the starter is a mini starter be careful of the solenoid wire. My powermaster had the wire break inside from something tugging on the solenoid post.
