High energy LSX coils

Got a set with 31K on them, you guys get first crack for $100.00

What would be the benefit to my engine with these? Would they be worth it for my setup? Just wondering.

They just have a hotter spark and heat sinks to dissipate heat, they originally only came on flex fuel vehicles, most likely to burn the ethanol more efficiently. They are arguably the best coils you can get for an LSX. The bracket would have to be modified though to work with stock fuel rails on a car, not a huge deal, just takes some work with a grinder.

NP, I don't know if they will work with your relocation brackets though, they mount totally differently then the car coils or standard truck coils, they are round.

im sure they will work with the wayt he mounted them as long as they have mounting holes in them LOL

ILuvPizzaTimes10 04-12-2010 02:49 PM

Hahaha Yup Boomer is Right! we'll see gotta see if i need to spend the extra money OR if its 17" Nittos now. these street tires dont hook at all and getting onto the high way is Sketchyyyy

Batman 04-12-2010 10:12 PM

They actually don't have mounting holes :p . They get held in by the bracket

ILuvPizzaTimes10 04-12-2010 11:21 PM

Ohh really? theres no flange/hole on them? wierd. mine work fine for what i have!

Batman 04-13-2010 02:49 AM

Nope they are completely round and the bracket wraps around them. Here is a link to a one on Ebay
