Saw some crazy shit!!!
 

So some of you know Ive been working up in Jacksonville for around 2 months now. That being said I meet my boss at the shop around 6am every morning and we leave about the same time. So we load up this morning and I usually drive the first leg of the trip, around 120 miles. So we leave the shop and fuel up the truck as normal. We leave the gas station and proceed down the road about 1/4 mi to the left hand turn lane to catch I95 NB. As I roll up to the light it changes from a green left turn arrow to a solid green light. Now as far as I know there was no one in front of me as I pulled up to the light but it was dark out. So next thing I know I hear a loud SMACK!!! and look over to my left and see a harley on the ground and a dude fly through the air about a 100ft and the car that hit him go down into a ditch and hit a tree!!!

My boss and I were like HOLY SHIT!!! I hop on the cell and call 911 and my boss goes across the road while Iam on the phone and have the stobes going on the truck to block traffic. The guy on the bike was totally unconsious so my boss helped the lady out of the car. As I got off the phone the guy on the bike started coming too so we told him not to move and to lie still. Man was he fucked up. He had road rash and broken glass all in his face and shit. So we had to stick around for awhile and give statements and describe what we saw. Boy after seeing this, fuck getting a bike.

DAMN!!!! that wil wake yah up in the morning!!! Every one leave breathing i hope?!??!

Yeah. The dude on the bike was wearing one of those little brain bucket style helmets. Not much buy hey probably saved his life. He was a little rough, but consious and breathing good.

see i love riding but hearing this stuff fucks with me lol... kinda glad i got rid of the zx6r but still miss it:(

That sucks for the rider but at least he's alive. Chance you take when riding. Doesnt scare me off.

wow dude I see some crazy shit happen on a daily basis, that kind of accident is way worse (being a biker) it hits a little close to home.

Yeah it even fucks with me a little too. I am not a biker, but my father-in-law is and so are a bunch of his friends, including my superintendant.

-Tony- I work for Highway Safety Devices. We do alot of intelligent traffic systems along I95. Pretty much is a radar and camera system to monitor traffic along with big DMS signs that tell you if there is a Amber alert or current traffic conditions. My boss and I are incharge of the electrical portion of the job. The first job we started on was 70miles long. We had to pull 3 phases of wire the whole 70miles underground. Pretty cool stuff, but tough work too.

As far as fault goes. There still not too sure. My boss and I were still unsure of exactly where the bike was coming/going. But we are thinking he might of took a left right after the arrow went away and the lady already had the green going the other way and they hit.
