DRs are awesome but defintely not for snow, or even dry pavement if it's below freezing out.

All season tires will always be a compromise. If you are really after performance and want to drive the car year round your best bet is to run winter tires in the winter and performance tires Spring-Fall. For a V6 car drag radials are overkill (arguably even for a stock V8 car, although I luv 'em). Some of the more popular performance tires are BF Goodrich KDWs and Nitto 555 Extremes. I run the Nitto 555s on the front, pretty good but could stand to be a little softer for aggresive cornering. Good in the rain too. I think you can get an all season KDW too.
