That and how much does that system cost? You can do a complete c5 swap for under $500 if you know where to shop. If iirc mine was actually just under $450.
Once you're at that point just upgrade the wheels to 17's. You can find 17's in a similar style to your wheels. They're basically just a mesh pattern not bowling ball hubcap wheels like KITT. And if you're worried about resale value just save the stock parts and reinstall if need be.
Once you feel a set of REAL brakes it's tough to go back. My 87 had a stock carb'd 305 and was slow as balls but with the big brakes, zo6 wheels/wide tires, and some suspension tweaks it was a blast to drive.
