Rockstar, in the PM convo you said to use a resistor to turn off the level light from the sensor. How/where does this resistor get installed? I am leaning towards this. I have the oil pressure gauge to tell me how the oil is doing, so the level sensor is redundant.

BTW, tons of people just tap the pan and be done with it. Since I race the car and put it under heavy abuse, I want something stronger.
