Most body shops dont want to be bothered with shit like that anymore. All they want is insurance jobs that pay out quick. If a body shop tells me they dont know how long it will take to fix a fiberglass hood or it might take 5 hours then its really isnt worth the hassle.
Im going to make a new hood out of plywood
