89 GTA - North East F-Body Association

Well the time has finally come to let my baby go. I'm gauging interest in my 89 GTA because an upcoming school year forces me to look at something a little more practical (AKA year round usage). 5.7 350 79,xxx miles, it just rolled over to 79, original engine and tranny and is still my daily driver. I picked her up in March of 09 where she was driven till August then garaged for the winter. She has never seen snow (from me or the PO) but has seen some rain time. Form the time i have had her i fixed the headlight motors, the t-top bar so it wont leak, removed the spoiler due to rot issues, and put in an ebony 4th gen interior. The car is by no means perfect and for the following reasons,

1. it needs paint, not so bad that it looks terrible but the hood is definitely faded.
2. there is no muffler, it came off a few weeks ago and i never got around to putting another one on.
3. the clear coat seems to be coming off the wheels, not really all that noticeable except on the passenger side rear
4. there are two noticeable dents, one on the driver side front fender and one on the driver side rear
5. the PO took the lock cylinders out of the doors, they still lock with the switch from the inside but since the is no cylinder cannot be unlocked from the outside
6. the headliner needs replacing, its sagging in the back and ripped in a few places

My asking price is.... well im taking offers to gauge interest but id like something in the 4k+ range to even myself out because that was the highest offer i have gotten since owning her. If your looking for a clean, stock, third gen in MA with a comfy interior and plenty of potential then shoot me an offer or a question that i will respond to as promptly as possible

you are probably close to the right ball park i paid 4200 for my 86 its a 305 not 350 had about the same milage (74,4xx) original/stock engine original interior
it had/has faded paint on the mirrors and spoiler with minor road chips on the nose
and it needed an egr and air pump so it wasnt perfect either

yep. good luck. get it painted, then sell it mark. it will make a world of difference and you'll get closer to your asking price. instead your gonna get 2k offers. trust me.
