Autozone PC test.
Well today I pulled the trigger on a PC type orbital polisher from autozone. Its made a company called shurhold. Ill tell ya what its a pretty nice piece. Has all the same features as the porter cable including variable speed, a carrying bag and a 5inch velcro backing plate and 2 handles. Cost was 149.00. I also bought a 6 pack of LC pads from autogeek since its right down the way from me.
Now I've been detailing for quite some time now and have always used my makita buffer to do cars and my work has always been nice but just the little things I've noticed have always kinda drove me a little nuts. Lol. I will say this my first time using one and I am very impressed with the results it gave. The test car was my black and blue flamed SS. Its got a very nice paint job about 4000 or so. But just like any detailer I was curious to see if it would come out better.  1. Vibrant cut 1500 compound with orange LC pad 2. Deep ebony polish with black LC pad 3. Mcguires show car glaze with blue LC pad. 4. Collonite insulator was with red LC pad. I have a black ls2 gto to detaill tomarrow so I will have before and after pics I am def impressed with the results. Sorry but I don't have any great pics due to sunlight but here is one.
