Default Foliage cruise

Since everyone had better things to do today I did a foliage cruise put on by two other car clubs, Pioneer Valley Firebirds and Pioneer Valley GTO Association. We started at 9am in Holyoke MA, where we got a police escort through town (somebody knew some Holyoke cops) and went north to Bernardston MA and stopped at Kringle Candle Company, where they gave everyone a free candle (I got Vanilla Mint LOL). From there we crossed over into Vermont. After a little delay to fix a cracked radiator hose on a GTO we picked up RT9 west and followed that for a while through some awesome windy hilly roads, then got on RT8 south back into MA, to RT2 west out to Williamstown where we stopped for dinner. There was about 18 cars total, mostly GTOs, a 1st gen bird, a 2nd gen, three 4th gens, plus a LeMans or two, a GN, and even a Mustang. Lots of nice cars and great scenery.

The leaves were past their peak up in Vermont but were pretty good in the Berkshires.

Looks like fun!! This was just a bad weekend, and bad year for car stuff for me....

Didn't drive the car much this year.... First 1/2 of summer with bad A/C pulley, second 1/2 with more rain than ever...

At least someone made it out for cruise!!
