Default muffler delete..??

i neeed some sound out of my car...but am pretty much broke..my buddy has a 93 lt1 with muffler delete and hasnt had any issues and its been a year and a half..wondering if i take the muffler out and weld in straight piped where the muffler was if that would could any issues involving back pressure and what not...btw mines is a 94

even though flowmaster flows like garbage.. better than stock...wat kinda tips and series muffler is it ?

no tips and its an 80 series single 3 inch in dual out

its cheap so no bitching about flow numbers!!! haha and it sounded OK i guess Way better then stock!!

i live in Randolph. and work in westwood.

I drove my car with no muffler once and it sounded atrocious. But doing what you described won't hurt it in any way, the idea that engines "need" back pressure is a myth.

if you need back pressure than your cam is way too big on the exhaust side not a problem with a stock cam
