Well lets set the scen last year i put a Power master High torque starter in 6 months later it blows up at the cone ,metal every were in the slave cyclinder and insp sheild replaced it with a new one .

Fast fowerd to today after it took me 3 hours to dig out the car ,stater is making that noise oooooooo sh*t .Well the warranty is out of date fu*k
now i have a $220.00 paper weight All said done 180.00 dollars later all better ,and pulled out the slave a found these pices,

years ago they were good but castings are now made in china.
tilton is the way to go now adays.
or just buy the cheap summit starters and replace when they shit the bed.

Yeah, years ago I bought a powermaster alternator from summit that puked in under a week. I deemed it not worth the effort to send back. It's still sitting in the bottom drawer of my tool box to this day lol.

POWERMASTER FAIL!!!!!!!! i bought 3 of those fucking things!! gave the last one away and bought a summit. shimmed it right and have had No issues since on 12.2:1 compression im hooked!

Sucks man! get her fixed!!!!!

I had issues with my powermaster as well. Nothing like that though. Pizza was nice enough to give me one of his old ones and I was able to use a few parts and make mine work again. I was fuckin pissed!

make sure your using the correct bolts to mount the starter!
or else itll happen again!
starter bolts have a knurl on the shaft.
Or youll have to lockwire the bolts.
(loctite doesnt work for long)
