Let me start off saying I'm listing this for a less computer savvy friend. If you want to ask anything here I'll do my best to answer or pass it along but you're best bet is contact the number. Now that that's out of the way on to the car.
1966 Chevy nova SS. Car was clean and rust free to start. The car needs NO RUST repair anywhere at all. It's not some hacked over rot box and never was. It has a heidt's front end with disc brakes, a flaming river manual rack, an ididit steering column, new front wheels and tires (skinnys). The car has full frame and custom floors from rocker to rocker, a full cage, an aluminum fuel cell, a heavy duty ford 9" rearend with the welded center housing brace, 35 spline strange axles with a big spool and rear disc brakes. There is new wheels and tires on the rear with bead locks . 29/15.50x15. Car has no motor, transmission, wiring, or interior. It is a rolling shell. But it is a rust free, very well done chassis that would make a perfect drag car or serious street car. Looking for $13,500. Serious inquiries only. Cash only, NO TRADES!!! Face to face deals only, no bank checks with shipping agents. Scammers, don't waste his time please. Call or text Bob at (508) 887-1777 Sorry for the grainy pics. He's gonna get it out of storage this weekend most likely and get me some better ones. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

Dawg, if you're looking for one built like this I can assure you that you will not be disappointed with it. Words don't describe how nice the chassis is. And I'm just helping an old friend. I have no monetary stake in this at all.
I'll get on him for better pics though if you're serious and want to see more first.

And...from my basic understanding it's a Chevy II car, correct? "For 1964-67 the car was still called Chevy II. It came in only 2 levels: the base 100-series and the top level 400 Nova series. There was still no 200-series and the 300-series was dropped. Again all cars were Chevy II's but only the 400-series were Novas". I'm pretty sure you can tell the series from the VIN.

And I asked him for more/better pics. He's gonna roll it out of the garage, blow the dust off, and get some decent pics this weekend. It really is an awesome car. He just has other projects going and he's been sitting on this one in this state for about a decade so time to move it along to someone who will enjoy it.

Here you go. Much better pics. Some slight surface rust on the bare metal parts from sitting around the past decade but nothing that wouldn't easily clean up. And the spots on the cage in the interior pic is sun shining through the fence. Anything else ask away or give him a call.

And yes he has the complete nose with bumper grill and all. It's just still stored away. All still the green color (besides the chrome and trim) and all in good shape. The stock flat hood is cut out for a 6-71 blower though iirc

WUT! I see a lot of rust even though its surface rust. Car been stores outside? Is the cage certified? If not its going to have to be redone etc. Im not a tire kicker and I ask these questions cuz im interested.

I know you're not a tire kicker DAWG. The car has been stored inside the entire time. He said anything you see comes right off with a scuff pad. I haven't seen it in person myself but I trust his word. It still needs no rust repair. No cutting out and replacing of anything. Sand it off, or rust kill prime it, and paint it. As for the cage I honestly don't know it's been certified. I doubt it cause the car has never had a driveline in it since the chassis work was done. Worst case it may need to be added to but I don't see any reason why it would all have to come out and be done over. I've seen what's there and I'm pretty sure you'd be all set at least into the 9's with the addition of a window net if it isn't already there. I don't remember one last time I saw it though (been a few years).
That other one looks like a nice car too and if it's done how you want it can't say I'd blame you. It's turn key. If you're looking for a car to do how you want it though I don't think you'd be upset. It is definitely a ways away from being street or track ready though. Can't argue that. I already know he won't budge on 13,500. He's in no rush to sell. If it doesn't go he'll just sit on it for another decade till he's ready to get to it. He's got the space and not desperate for cash.
